Super Girls!

Hm, Sean wanted to be a Mexican. Specifically a Youtuber that he likes. There's a campaign in Salt Lake that says "Don't make my culture your costume." I figure since Sean's birth mom is Mexican he can get away with it

Carving pumpkins, lots of pumpkins

There was a lot of pumpkin carving going on. Steph was the winner and Khloe came next for number of pumpkins carved.

Look at all those pumpkin guts.

They didn't get enough carving so they had to go out on the porch and carve a few more.

Hiking

When I googled local hikes last year one of the sites were pictographs up Centerville canyon. The hike was described as "easy, anyone can do it." While it was easier than the hike to Patsy's mine it was still scaling rocks to get to the pictographs. Anyone that's a billy goat can do it. 

This is what we hiked for.

Ice Skating

Khloe did her first ice skating solo. I was so proud of her I cried.

She also skated with her class to the Time Warp from Rocky Horror Picture Show

My little Wonder Woman. I didn't figure she would care much about the flowers but she liked the lip smacker chap sticks.

Poor Miss Valley was sick. She barfed in the car on the way over to my house. I was going to watch her for awhile so Steph could stay with Khloe. I gave her a bath and some water to drink. At the show she spiked a fever so Steph took her home and AJ and Khloe stayed for some of the Halloween activities.

Funny kids

Valley spent a lot of time getting Khloe's shirt on. Pretty smart kiddo.

That's a I didn't care for the broccoli face.

The cabinets for Q 15 got delivered. They are installing on Thursday. Then Don has to put the bathroom back together, replace the baseboards and molding and we get a plumber in. Hopefully it will be ready to rent by the middle of November.

I keep trying to made a video of Sean playing the piano but he won't let me. He's doing really well.

I had to move Sean's bed. The headboard was up against the window so things could fall down behind it. Valley helped me move it up against a wall.

Aunt Marian

My Aunt Marian died last week. I have a total of two pictures with her and here they are. My mom is holding Kathy and Marian is holding Susan and that little head in the back ground is Rob. Weird that now Rob and Susan don't speak and have restraining orders against one another. It's twins gone bad. Sometimes I think the sibling relationships in my family our dysfunctional but they are downright perfect compared to my cousins. 

I feel bad for my Uncle Ed. He and Marian shared a room at the nursing home and now he's alone. Little Marian said he's doing pretty well. He's been posting on facebook so he's staying social. I'm glad I went back to NC this summer.

Frightmares

OK, so this picture has nothing to do with Frightmares at Lagoon. We are getting 3 to 5 eggs a day from the chickens. That's a lot of eggs. I give away so many eggs and still we have a ton. Sean is tired of quiche so I started looking for other egg recipies and I found one for a Spanish tortilla which is basically eggs and potatoes. It is Sean's favorite food this week. We used 14 eggs this weekend and I still have over a dozen and I haven't checked the coop today. Valley ate two eggs for breakfast and a third rolled off the counter and broke. I bought Sean a food thermos so he could take leftovers to lunch and food other than just a sandwich. He's had fun with it so far. Yesterday and today he took a bean burito. Friday he took leftover fried rice. It's a nice change for the turkey sandwich he's taken for the last month.

It was cold and rainy on Sunday the day we planned to Lagoon. It quit raining in the afternoon so we went but it was still in the 40's. I think I'm over Lagoon for a couple years. Sean thought Frightmares was stupid and I just wanted to go out to dinner somewhere warm. I'm going to skip the Lagoon passes this Christmas.

Pack's Pumpkin Patch

Saturday was the perfect day for the pumpkin patch. Sunny and warm and not too crowded. Sean was bummed that he was too tall for the maze. He walked around on his knees for awhile.

This little one got so dirty. She's not too steady walking on a flat surface so she was falling all over the pumpkin patch and in the maze. She had a blast.

Sean found his perfect pumpkin. A dark orange one.

Actually he found two. 

Khloe chose a green one.

Vally could not get enough of the slide.

Khloe made "corn angles". I'm not sure that's really a thing but she tried.

They had a couple new things this year. The corn, the slide and a paintball zombie shooting game.
