Kylie, Brie and Jack came for a sleepover. It was all good until Sean woke up with a migraine the next morning and spent the day barfing in bed. We went and saw Spider Man.

Early Christmas

 

Since we were leaving for Florida on Christmas we celebrated Christmas on the 21st. Sean is a big fan of early Christmas and I've grown quite fond of the practice as well. We had our tree down and the house cleaned up by the 23rd.

60!

Chapters begin and end, some books are novels, some are short stories. The ability to evolve and explore is the adventure, "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans" John Lennon!

I found this quote today and saved it because I thougt it was great. AJ and Steph are talking about moving out of Florida and I thought the quote was a great example of the house we just built. It was a fun and possible short story.

Holy Smokes, when did I get so old? I was telling Don a story and I said "an old lady" and Don asked "how old?" and I said 60. I've got to change my mindset 60 is the new 40.

Nate had sent a package from China and it just happened to arrive on my birthday.

We went and saw "A Christmas Story" at Centerpointe Theater for my birthday.

Snow, we got snow.

 

Soap Science

Right before Covid I took a soap making class with Charity and Mardi. I made a couple batches of soap but last month I started really experimenting with soap. Sean had to do a project for science so he made a coal and tea tree oil soap.

It's a good thing Christmas came so I could give lots of soap away. I gave soap to all the neighbors.

Thanksgiving

We had a big Thanksgiving with lots of family.

I didn't get any group pictures. I seem to have tired of picture taking.

Sean had a really cute piano performance at the Egyptian Theater in Ogden.

Kindergarten

Third Grade

The girls had a fund raiser at school. It was a walkathon but on Khloe's day it was cold and rainy so it became a danceathon under an awning. Khloe didn't want to walk or dance.

Vally was enthused with the enthusiasm of a kindergartener. She ran like the wind the entire time. 

Halloween Night

We went over to the Baptist Church Trunk or Treat. The girls had a good time. AJ and Steph were "Boss Baby" security. Connor did not like their glasses.

Don and Sean got three of the blinds put up today.

Sean and I made a lot of Halloween cotton candy.

Halloween Day

We went to the Tallahassee Auto museum. It was pretty cool it had a ton of old pianos. This Steinway was made for President Roosevelt. They had cool cars and toys too.

Florida house

 

The boys installing the new TV. It is kind of funny Don had never seen the house other than pictures. When he was in Florida before Connor was born we were talking about buying some land or a house in Crawfordville then he went back to Utah and I signed the agreement for this house. It's just weird that six months later we are in a house that wasn't built and we had never talked about buying.

The girls dressed for 50's day. I thought that was a bit of a stretch as the kids in elementary school don't have parents born in the 50's. Heck most of them don't have grandparents born in the 50's.
