Stressful end of July

I didn't write about the end of July because I didn't have the emotional energy. Now that we're almost through August, I need to document July.

Alex had another seizure. This time, he was driving!! Scary, Misty was with him and somehow managed to stop the truck, move Alex, and get them home. Alex, of course, did not want to go to the ER again. He ended up going in the morning, and he had dislocated his shoulder AGAIN. This time, they said they thought it was actually fractured and recommended surgery. Alex is waiting on an MRI to make a decision.

 

Holly, Odie, and I went to Grand Junction for the weekend to check on Alex.

While I was in GJ, Kylie was in a bad accident and broke her pelvis, sternum, and ribs. She had surgery where they put in a big, permanent screw in her pelvis. Jack and Jennie were coming to stay with us for a week. They arrived early since Kylie was going into surgery. Ultimately, Kylie did great, and she's home and walking.
