First place in level 5

My little superstar took 1st place in level 5 and the competition in Park City. As usual she was skating against kids much older than her.

Head of Khloe's fan club. Vally is home with me today and she wanted to watch the cartoon "Chloe's closet, NO Valentina closet" she said.

I'm so proud of this girl.

Trip home

I knew the trip home was going to be long. We couldn't get a direct flight and our layover was long. It kind of stunk but there were no problems it was just a long day. We got home about midnight.

Our layover was in Charlotte NC. We ate BBQ and Sean did his homework.

Last day at sea

The ports were pretty lame and the ship's buffet was the worst I've seen on a cruise ship but Sean did have a GREAT time playing with all his cousins.

The dining room at night was fun. It was great to spend time with family and the kids enjoyed each other.

Labardee Haiti

We went to Labadee which is an area leased by the cruise line so it's isolated from the violence in other parts of Haiti. We took a kayak over to the real part of Labadee where people live in shacks and have electricity 15 hours a day. I have no desire to spend any more time in Haiti. Crossed that off my bucket list. Then again I'm not really sure it was on my bucket list.

They have sea lice over by the wibits. They are microscopic jellyfish larvae. Sean got all sorts of stings.

Puerto Rico

Ah Puerto Rico you will be remembered for the best empanadas I've every had!

Sean and his hats.

St Martins

In St Martins we rode rhino boats for a tour around the island and some snorkeling. The ride was really bumpy. It was like being in our little yellow boat at the lake on a really choppy day for two hours. There were a few minutes where the water was calm. I thought my teeth were going to break in my mouth from the bouncing. It was a beautiful area. I'm surprised by all the boat's in the water. There were so many boats wrecked in the water. Old ones and newer ones from the hurricane last year. Hundreds of millions of dollars in yachts sunk.

Our trip adventure was the taxi driver that tried three times to drop us off in the middle of nowhere and nowhere near where we needed to be. It was really strange. I'm glad we all had the sense to say we weren't getting out of the van. The taxi driver was getting annoyed but not nearly as annoyed as the 16 of us in the van.

It was so bright, Catherine and a couple of her kids got bad sunburns.
