Long weekend

It's a long weekend for the kids because Monday is MLK day. We met Lanette at the Mountain America Event center and picked up the girls. There was a car show there that Don and Sean wanted to see. This picture is Sean and the girls getting off a self driven mini UTA bus.

We ate at Famous Daves. We got the American Feast and there was so much left over. I called Carter and told him we were bringing him home Famous Daves, that made him happy! He ate everything except the white meat.

Sean wanted a lumber jack hat like Ethan has. Angela said they came from Old Navy. We dropped the kids off at Farmington Station to watch a movie and hang out so I ran into Old Navy to look for the hat. They were on sale for $1.60 so all the kids got a hat they will wear once but it made me smile.

Chinese New Year

Stewart had a Chinese New Year celebration at the school. I don't think this was what they had in mind for decorating face mask. Sean said "I'm your number one fan." Silly kids

They went in to Mao Yu's classroom and were supposed to be helping but were really being a pain. Sean and Andrew had a good time running around. Don and I stayed and waited the two hours of the event and the boys weren't ready to go until the very end.

Last day of our Fla trip

I've been back from Fla for 10 days and haven't finished posting. It seems like it was two months ago. I miss my little monkeys and my beach house. I miss AJ and Steph too but they aren't as much fun as the Khloe and Vally.

Bath bombs

We went to Sonny's for lunch. It was a much less amusing lunch then our last visit there. The food was good.

After lunch Alex and Misty dropped me and Sean off at the airport. They went back a couple hours later and dropped off the rental car and flew home. It was a great trip.

Khloe skipped school to spend the morning with us and she loves school.

Sunset, Sunrise, Light House

Beautiful sunset

Sean made a fort in the closet to sleep in. He even dragged in the light.

Beautiful sunrise. I got outside and started looking for shells before the sun rose. There was no one on the beach. Once I got pass the town houses I didn't pass anyone for the two miles I walked.

I found a lot of shells.

We climbed the SGI lighthouse.

Great view.

Alex and Misty came for a visit

For Christmas I bought Alex and Misty plane tickets. I actually told all the kids I would buy them tickets to Fla sometime during the year but Alex and Misty were first. We went out crabbing the first night and there were tons of crabs. More than I had seen before.

On Saturday AJ and Steph and the girls came for the day. Vally likes to collect feathers.

Khloe likes to stick feathers in jelly fish. This is a rare feathered jelly fish.

It was pretty windy on Saturday.

New Years

There was a bon fire AKA fire pit on the beach behind the lighthouse. I had read about it on Facebook and thought it was going to be cool but it was pretty lame.  No marshmallows, no band, just some music on speakers and a bunch of strangers standing around a fire pit. We only stayed a few minutes then we went over to Harry A's for desert and watched the University of Utah get beat by Texas in a bowl game.

This is me! Vally is quite the artist. All her pictures have curly hair and rainbows. Khloe's were all princesses when she was 3.

Me attempting to sleep on an air mattress with the girls. We drove back to Tallahassee on the 1st. Don flew back home to a snowy Utah.

Sean and I spent to nights at AJ's.

I can't remember what she was unhappy about on the unicorn.
