Busy Baby

Vally is the busiest toddler. She took a nap and was wet when she woke up so I took her diaper off and set her on the floor. She started to pee and yelled "uh oh Grandma!" She stopped peeing and I set her on the toilet and she peed out the entire bottle she drank. She is a smart little cookie.

Mickey riding her banana.

A little light reading. She spent a long time going over the Deebot instruction book.

She wanted some socks and I told her I didn't have any upstairs. She gets off the bed and climbs back up wearing a pair of Don's socks. I love that little girl. Khloe came over for a little while after school. It's so funny Khloe wants to follow the rules and Vally doesn't care. It's interesting to watch them interact.

Quick visit with the sisters

We got a rat proof chicken feeder. I hope it really is rat free. I got the chickens to use it by putting meal worms in it. Those birds love meal worms. It only took a couple tries before they figured how to use it. There is no feed falling out. We've been losing a lot of food to birds too.

Kylie and Brie came over Sunday evening and went home Monday afternoon. They were pretty wild. They went and saw "Solo" Sunday night and played games on Monday.

We went over to Catherine's Uncle Jeff's house for a Memorial Day party. We stayed about an hour until it started lightening.

Russian frosting tips

An ad for Russian frosting tips came up on my Facebook. I watched some Youtube videos and they looked cool so I ordered them. They make flowers and designs with just a squeeze, no talent involved. We haven't gotten good at it but even Khloe and Vally can make flowers which is pretty cool. We made a cake on Sunday when Alika came over.

We made another cake on Monday when Kylie and Brie came over.

Field Trip

The last month of school has been very little learning and mostly playing and busy work. They did have Sage testing two days a week for a month. Friday we took the UTA bus to Farmington and then walked a mile to Farmington pond. They did a scavenger picture hunt along the way.

They dabbed

Kaleb disappeared in this picture. He was mad because we didn't take a picture in the tree he wanted. I swear I look at that kid and see a teenage bully coming into a school and shooting kids. He started hitting one of the kids in my group and told him to take his hands off him. I then decided to try and play nice and told everyone that Kaleb would pick the last picture which involved a rock. That appeased the little terror and he chilled out. He has beat up Sean so many times. I remember telling his mother how he was always hitting Sean and she was "shocked" as we were talking Kaleb started kicking Sean on the basketball court. I said "look" and his mom said "oh wow." Really.

Kaleb happy because he found the rock.

This is there taking a dump face.

It was a fun field trip. We walked back to the bus stop and I was able to get over to DIA by 2.

Busy Girls

Khloe had a sick day and wanted to do a box. I bought a lip gloss making kit at Joann's. It was probably the dumbest kit we've done. It was just like putting some food coloring in Vaseline and sticking it in a plastic ball.

This is my favorite part. Don't put the lip gloss near their lips. It was all OK because as soon as they left I threw it away and they never missed it.

Static head from jumping on the trampoline.

Khloe didn't feel good but she still jumped.

Bananas and blackberries for a snack.

My little puzzler.

Silly kids

My little artist. She was coloring all over her legs so I decided to help her out. She couldn't quit looking at her belly.

Ethan and Andrew had a birthday party. We got Ethan a dabbing pig shirt and Andrew a Fortnite shirt. Josh showed up in a dabbing pig shirt so it made for a funny picutre.

Crazy Chickens

I noticed the eggs were becoming sporadic. One day I got two the next day I got one and then another one. Hmm, something was not right. I crawled under the deck and sure enough the little buggers were laying in the window well. I gathered all the eggs piled a bunch of stuff on top of the window. Later on Don put a piece of trellis over it.

That's a lot of missing eggs.

One of the chickens had been laying soft of shell-less eggs for a couple of months. Diet didn't change it and it was making a mess all over the nesting boxes. I'm too big a wimp to kill the chicken so I dropped her off at the IFA downtown. There was a guy standing by the chicken pens with a toothpick in his mouth. I walked up with on Vally's empty pull up boxes with the chicken in it and he said "gotta chicken?" I said yes and he reached for the box and said "if it's a rooster Frank will want to fight." I said "it's a hen" and he said "Frank will be happy." For some reason the entire encounter was comical. I asked the guy if the chickens became soup and he said "probably, 2 or 3 different people come by and pick them up."

Mother's Day

Don and Sean got me a pair of earrings for mother's day. Khloe took me and Steph our for pedicures. Here she is paying.

After our feet looked nice we met up with Carter and went to Tepneyaki. The chef threw a shrimp at Vally's mouth and it bounced off her head. Khloe almost caught hers, mine somehow went over my head and down the back of my pants.
