Sweet kids

That face! He had some stranger anxiety with me but by the end of week seemed to feel comfortable. No doubt by the time I go back next month he will have forgotten me and we will have to start over.

So darn cute.

Sleep over at Grandma's house.

Sean and the girls playing video games with Marco.

Vally calls her "Nilla" which makes Khloe crazy.

Sean is not comfortable with babies.

Within a couple days we had a serious ant problem. One bit Khloe between her toes and I had one climb up my shirt and bite me. I put out a bunch of traps if we still have a problem when we go back I will have to get an exterminator.

Carol our neighbor at the beach is cleaning out her house in Tallahassee so she can sell it and she gave me a bunch of dishes.

Beach and Sean cooking

The last storm really uncovered the ancient tree stumps in front of the townhouses.

Sean did school work while we were in Florida. He was taking a family life class that included cooking so he cooked a meal and a desert while we were at the beach.

Homemade oreo's. At least that's what the recipie called it.

Salsa

He made dinner with the assigned recipe called Haystacks. We added that to our "not going to cook that again" file.

Tallahassee

Sean and I took a one week trip to Tallahassee to set up the new house.
Milla's job has turned into a hot mess so we took her to Florida with us. The school district has not been very fast working to get her a Visa so now she can't teach until the get it. The principal kept saying it will be soon but Milla saw her job posted for a substitute and  it said "sub position for up to 16 weeks while teacher gets Visa." Hm, her tourist Visa runs out in 16 weeks so they need to hurry up. She is living here, not able to work or make any money so she is stressed.
We worked so hard I had blisters on my feet just from walking around getting things set up. The first day there was a 20,000 step day and I didn't go walking.
The walk in shower is really cool but the glass of the shower looks right at the mirror which means if I look at the mirror I get to see my almost 60 year old sagging boobs and ain't nobody want to see that!
We got to the point where Sean kept asking "when are we going to....." and my response was "when dad gets there."

We closed on the house

We officially closed on the house on Friday.

AJ and Steph were able to get all the crap I had delivered to their house out of their hallway.

Now to get everything moved in and set up.

Jacob was in town

Jacob was in town for a week for his grandpa's funeral. Sean was a little nervous. "What if we don't have anything in common anymore." Five minutes together and it was like they were never apart. They skated and roamed the neighborhood until midnight three nights in a row. He is 5'10". Sean is standing on his toes.

Dang hives

Almost two years exactly I had hives. They came back with a vengeance.

No clue what caused them but I had to take steroids for five days and a ton of antihistamines. I wish I knew what caused them so I could avoid it.

First day of 8th grade

Standing outside home room. We really need to talk about the school custodian!

In class

Passing off CPR for his health class.
So far online school has been good. We've had the typical problems getting his class schedule just right. He still hates Chinese class and that has caused some home drama.
