Lagoon

I bought season Lagoon passes and summer is almost over and we haven't gone. Don went once with David and Kendra. We decided to go Sunday morning for an hour. We got there right when it opened. It was perfect there were no lines (except for Lagoon beach and we weren't going there)

We rode Rattlesnake Rapids twice and I got drenched both times.

Sean stayed dry the first time but got drenched the second.

We left Lagoon drenched and went to eat at Red Lobster. The hostess asked "were you at Lagoon?"

This is one busy and fast little girl.

I'm too tired to eat!
But I have a little energy left to dump my plate.

Here take it!

Fine if you don't want it, I'll keep it.

Hand Cart Days

We never go to Hand Cart days because it's to damn hot. Well guess what? It was too damn hot. We stayed for about an hour. Valley was like, what the heck are you putting me in this swing for. I didn't ask to be put in this swing and I don't want to be in this swing.

Sean watching them burn a HD into a piece of wood. Just in case it wasn't hot enough.

Seriously people. I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE, ARE YOU STUPID?

Sean not liking the wall climb.

Khloe not liking the blow up climb.

Sean hooked up with Ethan and Andrew and they declared "there is nothing for nine year old's here." Ha, Valley would say there was nothing for a one year old.

Silly girls (and Sean)

Kylie and Brie came for a quick one night sleep over before they left for Lake Powell. They stayed up late and walked to DQ for lunch.

They stayed up late playing "food challenge."

Khloe went to Costa Rica for a week so I had so many eggs. We had to give them to Catherine and neighbors.

Khloe came back from Costa Rica looking very native:)

Nate goes home and silly girls

Khloe making a fashion statement with the arm covers for the chairs.

Valley want's nothing to do with the fashion statement

Nate went home on the 10th. He was ready to go home and Sean was ready for him to go. I was thinking maybe I should have added a week but I think three weeks was just right.

Exhausted Sean sleeping with his phone in his hand.

Nate left his bear so we had to mail him.

Staying busy in the heat

Initially all that was showing under the bed was Nate's head. Why sleep on a bed when you can sleep under it.

They have slept in the game room and in the living room and once in Sean's room. I had a room for Nate but he never slept in it he just kept his clothes in the room.

We went to Sil's for breakfast. I told the boys to get the kids meal because the pancakes were huge. Nate said he was really hungry and wanted the big meal. Good things the chickens like pancakes and Sean's second piece of french toast.

We went to a NBA summer league expedition game. The 76ers and the Celtics.

When we were leaving the game Steph called. Khloe had fallen on her arm and had been screaming for an hour. We met them in the ER and brought Valley home. Fortunately it wasn't broken. They were leaving for Costa Rica at the end of the week so a broken arm would have been no fun swimming and playing in the ocean.

SeaQuest up close

When we were at Sea Quest on the 4th we talked to a worker who was doing private "snprkeling" experiences. The boys wanted to do so we made reservations and came back the next day

They were both pretty timid at first. Sean wanted me to go in with them. In retrospect I should have done it at a time that Don or I could have gone in with them. I didn't think they would be scared in such a controlled setting. Sean's been snorkeling in the ocean and at Discovery Cove.

Eventually they started rocking it. By the time they really got it down it was over. Sean wants to do it again with Don.

Happy 4th of July

Nothing says "America" like watching the fireworks from the parking lot of Walmart. The fireworks were on the 3rd of July.

We got home and the boys did a bunch of sparklers and poppers.

I thought the 4th wouldn't be too crowded at the aquarium because everyone would be outside doing 4th of July activities and parades.

The boys had a great time feeding the birds.

I got a fish pedicure which was kind of strange. I'm not sure it was worth $14 but I can cross that off my bucket list.

Petting the sting rays.

We had salmon and fried rice for dinner. Carter and AJ and family came over for dinner. It was way too hot to BBQ. I made a 4th of July cake so we could sing "happy birthday America" and it gave Khloe another chance to blow out some candles.

Valley was ready for a piece of cake!

The girls ran in the sprinklers after dinner.

And that was a 4th of July wrap. It was a good day.
