Sister visit

 I got a disturbing call from Shari a couple of weeks ago and decided to go to NC to see what's going on. All seems OK. Marjie is taking Aricept and has some aphasia but looks good and is in good spirits. I texted her and told her I was coming but she said she either forgot or didn't believe me. It was fun to see her and eat BBQ! Kestrel is almost 5 and this is the first time I've met her. She is so smart and cute!

Carter, Connor, Vally (David's too) and the last family birthday of the month goes to Khloe

 Not counting, Catherine, Art, Lynn and a multitude of cousins Khloe wraps up the month of birthdays!

Khloe had a cute little Polly birthday cake that she had a hard time cutting because it was so darn cute.

Khloe went to the aquarium and ate out 3 times on her birthday. She was a busy 9 year old!

Connor, is over all the festivities but he does love the cake.

Funny Khloe story: I was in the tub reading a book and Khloe and Vally came in the bathroom. Khloe looks at me and says "Gma, are you reading a book in the tub?" I said yes. She looked closer and saw that it was library book and said "GMA, YOU ARE READING A LIBRABRY BOOK IN THE BATHTUB. WHY?" I said "because I like to live dangerously." She said "and you leave the doors unlocked, your making me crazy!"

Little Miss Valentina is 6!!

We had dinner at Spaghetti factory.

We took a trip to the zoo.

Vally was sad that she didn't need glasses when she had her eye's checked. For her birthday I got her a set of blue glare reducing glasses and she was happy! So happy in fact she wore all three pairs at once. That made me laugh because I frequently have a pair on my head and a pair on my face.

Too much snow

Sean and Tyson were really excited when we got a big snow storm and Snow Basin reopened for the weekend. Only problem, there was SOOO much snow they kept falling down and only skiied half a day.

 

Easter

 

The kids had fun on Easter. Fanny was here so they had both Grandma's. 

They searched for eggs in the front yard. Connor wasn't too interested.

Dying eggs. Khloe was very upset when I turned her eggs into deviled eggs. She felt it was not a good use for dyed eggs.

Pint Sized Picasso's

 I saw a sign for art classes for kids in Bountiful and signed the girls up. They had a really great time and the staff there was so great with kids. They took their art work very seriously!

Easter is coming

The girls had fun making sugar eggs today. Khloe asked "can we do this again next year?" I bought My Little Pony toys to put inside the eggs. Vally decided she wanted hers out of the egg and was ready to smash it before it even dried. Silly girl, we were able to pull out her  My Little Pony and keep her egg intact.

Dinner with "old" friends.

 

            I don't miss working full time but I do miss seeing all my work friends on a regular basis!

Before dinner I stopped at St Marks to visit Bradly. He's totally destroyed his brain and body with drugs and living on the streets. He was on a ventilator for a couple of days and now he's getting vancomycin for endocarditis.

April is birthday month

 I didn't get a picture of Carter on his birthday but he turned 38 last Sunday. We were going to go to Teppanyaki but it was closed so we went to Famous Dave's.

Saturday was Connor's first birthday. That was a fast year!!!

He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

Connor LOVES Olive Garden breadsticks and alfredo sauce so that's where we ate for his birthday lunch.
His shirt says "I'm ONEderful" and that he is. The cutest little boy, he is so happy and so proud of himself for learning to walk!

Connor had a cold and didn't feel great. He didn't want to smash his smash cake.
