We went to the lake on Friday the day after the 4th. Don fixed the boat from last year and it kind of worked but not really. The lake is really high, the kids had fun playing in the sand and swimming at the pool. We are selling the lake house so it was a little nostalgic as I started packing things up. There are lots of memories at the lake but I'm ready to move on and not at all sad. The politics of the HOA and the fighting with the campground is really bothering me and I'm ready to not have to hear about or pay for any of it.
