| She's smiling through the tears. Three years she lived with us and now she's gone back to China. Again, like Sean growing up so fast, where did those three years go? Her trip home is long, she had to spend three nights in Washington so she could be tested for COVID antibodies before she got on the plane. Now that she's back in China she has to spend two weeks in a tiny hotel room chosen by the Government. She can't leave her room at all, they leave food at her door. Argh, it's like being in solitary confinement in a prison. At least she has a window, a tv and a computer but it would still be so awful to be stuck in a room alone for 14 days. |
