Birthday Month Carter and Connor!
We started with Carter turning 41. I didn't get a picture, but we took him to Tepenyaki for his birthday. Funny Carter story. AJ had a jar of money that he said was for Carter. When AJ and Alex were looking in Aric's safe, they found a mason jar full of cash. Aric would put all his ones and fives in it, and then he would take Carter to a strip club in Vegas, and that was his tip money. I took it home because I knew Carter would be overdoing his laundry, and I told him he had one last gift from his dad. Just saying that made me really sad. Carter laughed and asked how long I had known he went to strip clubs with his dad. Then he asked what he should do with the money. I said I would leave it in the jar and keep it as a memory; Don told him he should use it as intended. Carter said, "I'm going to put it in the bank."
Connor loves Olive Garden, so we ate lunch there. Later, we went to Coconut Cove so the kids could play. |
Spring
We got an AC installed at 512. Khloe was funny. When Don took the swamp cooler out, there was a hole in the wall, and Khloe was worried a puma would get in the house. |
Cousin time
Birdie loves to play with her cousins, who are so good to her! |

It took years!
About three years ago I made it to a 498 streak of walking 10,000 steps per day. I walked every day through COVID, breast reduction, infectious colitis..... I walked, and I walked. I was excited to make it to 500 steps, and then at 498 days, I had the reaction to Cipro, and I couldn't walk at all. I had to slide down the stairs on my butt because my legs didn't work. I remember Khloe saying, "Grandma, that's embarrassing," I told her I was just glad I could get down the stairs. For a while, after I got better, I didn't do any streaks of more than 10 days because I didn't want to be disappointed when I lost my streak, but eventually, I started again, and here I am with a 500-day streak!
