What's going on (not a whole lot)

Sean came in the house after school crying. We carpool with a neighbor in his class, Jacob. Sean was so distraught. I asked him what was wrong. He said "I wanted to go play with Jacob but his mom said no, she said they were going to the pharmacy and I really wanted to go." I said "the pharmacy isn't any fun." He said "it isn't?" I said, "no, it's like when we go to Target and wait in line for medicine." He said "Oh, I thought since it had the word Farm in it and there were going to be animals and it was going to be fun." So cute.

The other night I was reading a book and San asked me what it was about. I said it was about a little boy who was adopted from Russia . He asked if he had a "mirth mother." I said "birth mother". He said "NO Jenny is my Mirth mother." Yes son, she's definitely your mirth mother.

In computer class at school.

Sean's name in Chinese. I am in awe of how much he is learning. Very amazing and he loves it. He loves telling people he speaks Chinese. He can count, knows his colors, simple commands and can write his name and numbers. He can sing songs and recite nursery rhymes in Chinese. We were at the doctors office waiting for his flu shot. Sean started yelling in Chinese. Really LOUD. I asked him what he was saying and he said "I don't know." The next day when I was volunteering in his class, the teacher was yelling really LOUD, the same thing Sean had been yelling. It was a song, I think. Chinese is a loud language. His teacher has a lot of energy. She is very cute, and very young. She was having a fit this week because the temperature got down to 50 and the kids didn't have coats. She wouldn't let them go out for recess. I guess she doesn't realize the kids in Utah wear shorts in the snow.

Sean's into Mario again this week.
