Sean had his piano recital this weekend. He did a great job. He played "The thing that has no name" which he's been working on for a month. He is so funny when he starts a new song he hates it because it's hard but after a week of practice he has it down and he likes it. He played "Silent Night" as did 6 other kids. About half way through he stopped for a second and said "I lost it." People kind of laughed and he picked it up and started again. When he came and sat down he was tearful. We told him he did a great job. The very last student was a junior high school girl and she was REALLY good. She played a harder version of "Silent Night" and about half way through she messed up. I was kind of glad because it helped Sean realize everyone messes up. He started taking guitar last month in his quest to be a musician. His piano teacher split the recitals up into three groups which was nice. When she has all 30+ kids it is too much.
