| We left Vernal early Monday and took a side trip to Flaming. Gorge. We'd never been there before. A "Dam Guide" gave us a behind the scenes tour of the dam. |

| It's a big reservoir. Lake Powell may be busier but the trees and river at Flaming Gorge are beautiful. It's hundreds of miles of lake so there are problem red rocks somewhere on the shore. It's just over the boarder to Wyoming. |
