Gingerbread houses and Christmas

We had a big crowd for gingerbread houses this year. Lot's of kids. 

AJ and Steph missed the gingerbread house making. Steph was at instacare. Khloe had strep this week and Steph had the flu. They are both still coughing and were leaving for Florida in the morning. We decided to open presents on the 23rd before they left. Sean wanted to open his presents early so we just did the entire Christmas two days early. David had to work and Alika was busy getting engaged but Carter made it. David came over the next day. It was kind of liberating being done with Christmas while others were still shopping. I'm thinking of celebrating winter solstice celebration in advance/instead of Christmas. We went over to Catherine's for a nice dinner Christmas eve and back for lunch today. It was a really low key day, I made a dinner. It was just me, Don, Sean, Carter and Tyson. 

If you want to make a two year old happy give her a cardboard box.
