Foggy day

The second day was so foggy. We were in a cloud the entire day. Not to cool but you got soaked just walking the mist.

Later in the day after AJ and Steph and the girls went back to Tallahassee I went for a 4 mile walk in the mist. I found this little map that Vally had drawn and it hadn't been washed away. 

Beaching

The first day the girls came it was cloudy and a little cool but still a fun day on the beach.

Grandma and Grandpa's beach house

This is the reason I wanted to buy a beach house. I wanted the girls to still come to Grandma's house and do special Grandma things here. I brought some of the toys they played with in Utah so it was fun to have them play with them here.

And of course there is still cooking.

And jumping on blow up mattresses.

New things everywhere

AJ got a new game table for Christmas that the kids (and Don) had fun playing.

Sean got a weighted full size keyboard so that he has no excuse for not practicing while we are at the beach.

Beach walking

We walked the beach. Sean found a full star fish.

Christmas day

The girls didn't wake up until after 8. Sean got presents in Utah and Florida.

Khloe got a riding unicorn. She has some long legs.

Vally made me a bow out of Christmas paper pput it in a box then we taped paper over the box. She drew a picture of us and told me what to write.

Christmas eve

I think the girls were as excited to see me as I was to see them.  They put out a key for Santa since they don't have a chimney.

They sprinkled magic glitter for the reindeer.

Pre Christmas Festivities

Busy December. Robintino's reopened. We went on their first night of their "soft opening." It was the same as before with a tiny bit of updating and I do mean tiny. The food is average as always but them memories are powerful. I remember so many lunches there with my mom, we had my grandmother's after funeral luncheon there, birthdays, granduations. So many memories that I am sometimes overwhelmed when I go there.

We had our family Christmas lunch and opening presents on Sunday. Carter isn't in the pictures because he came early and opened all his presents and then left as soon as he was done eating lunch. He is such an overgrown kid.

Sunday night we went to see the new Star War's movie. And that was our pre-Christmas wrap.

Gingerbread house party

I wasn't sure I was up to hosting the Gingerbread house party without Khloe and Vally but party we did. The Warehime kids really look forward to the evening.
We had dodaddles and Kyle made fried rice and dumplings. There was way too much food and candy but the kids had a good time.
