We took the subway from right outside our hotel to Time Square. People say NYC is dirty but everywhere we've been has been clean. Three subway performers hopped on at one stop and sang a song about the rain.

It was a rainy morning but the rain stopped long enough for us to walk to the Empire State building. It was cold, cloudy and windy on the observation deck but the views were still decent. Once again we lucked out and there were no lines. We went straight up
