Fun Day at the Lake

Don, Sean and I went up to the lake Friday night and spent the night. We got up early and took the boat out. The boat went really, really slow and it didn't sound right. Sean didn't care, he thought it was great. He drove the boat around in circles. The boat had spark plug issues. Don took it down to Ogden and they replaced the spark plugs ($7) and had it back up to the lake by noon. We also went to the farmer's market in Eden. Sean listened to a lady sing and play the guitar. He clapped for her and he petted a horse named Sundance. And he got a new hat. He always needs new hats. He can never have too many.

In the afternoon Catherine and Kyle came up with the boys and an extra boy named Braxton. (I already asked his last name isn't Hix). The kids had so much fun boating. Sean and Tyson were fearless. Harrison and Braxton road on the mini water wienie behind the boat. They only fell off twice. Jackson and Jameson had lots of fun in the boat too. They all played in the sand and swam in the lake.

After boating we went up to the condo and everyone swam in the pool for awhile. Once again Sean and Tyson were fearless. Sean and Tyson are taking a swimming class together. They are really cute with one another. Don said that Jameson and Sean played really well together too. All the kids had a great time. There was absolutely no whining, crying or fighting the entire afternoon. Amazing with 6 little boys. They did eat a lot of junk but they sure burned all those calories. All in all it was a perfect afternoon. The weather was great, not too hot. The lake was cool but not too cool. Even Kyle had a good time.

Hi Carol,
What a fun time with the little boys. We had a similar fun experience with girls here. Addie and her friend, Felicia, came last Wednesday and we tried to go horseback riding at Rockhome Gardens but the trails were flooded so they settled for a buggy ride and junk food. We found a country road that was flooded and had tiny frogs jumping all over the place so they played in flood water and caught frogs (that are still in a fish bowl in the living room). On Thursday, Dava, Alexis and Elizabeth came and the girls did girl-stuff like fixing each other's hair and eating junk food. They set up a lemonade stand even though I warned them that Lovington didn't have many people to buy their products. To my surprise, they made $5 - enough for $1 each plus $1 to pay me for the drink powder. Then, of course, they walked to Casey's to spend their money on junk food. Sharon
