Day One

Sean is a good traveler. He was awake to pat his knees and say “BLAST OFF” when the plane took off, then he went to sleep.

We met up with Art and Char at the Long Beach airport. Art had all kind of drama leading up to the cruise. He left his birth certificate in his car at the train parking lot in Maryland. (Where there are no flights due to a blizzard) He though all was lost and his daughter Autumn found a copy of his birth certificate. Autumn’s husband Ian flew from N.C. to LAX and met Art in the parking lot and the cruise terminal with his birth certificate. We were in line to board when he got there. Way to go Ian. Art also found out that on Saturday that he passed his RN board which is an excellent thing.

Cruise pictures on the ship

Sean used to be really good about saying CHEESE and smiling for pictures but now he likes to make his "Scawey Sean face" Oh well, what can you do?

Getting in touch with his heritage! Good thing we had a passport or they might have kept him.

What a fantastic trip, aside from the part that didn't include me. That Sean, he is living the dream. My favorite picture is the naked baby in the river. I think Ian better be up for son in law of the year for flying across country to Art could get on the boat. Glad you had such a nice vacation.
