A great train adventure

Don woke up this morning and said "let's go on adventure." He's been wanting to take the Front Runner to Ogden so that's what we did. We drove to the Woods Cross station and boarded the train. Sean was excited! (Of course)

We didn't have any plans for once we made it to Ogden other than lunch. When we got off the train  Sean wanted to explore all the old trains in the yard. Then we went into the train museum. That was lots of fun and we learned all about trains. There was also an awesome car museum with cars from the late 1800's and early 1900's. Sean didn't like that as much as the trains because you weren't allowed to touch. The trains he could touch and climb on.

There were things to push and things to pull. There were bells to ring and some awesome toy trains to play with and watch.

After lunch we found another yard full of trains to climb on. I liked the Olympic train. It was a great way for a train loving three year old to spend his morning. Then we rode the train back home.

I really am looking forward to the time in my life when I can wake up and say "Let's go on an adventure" and hop on the train to go where it takes us. You people know how to have fun. Happy Happy Birthday AJ, I hope he had a great day. I was hoping he would join us down at Chuck E Cheese in Sandy for our birthday bash but he was a no show.
