Our little foster dog

I'm fostering a dog from the Davis County Animal Shelter (Farmington). She is believed to be a Maltese. The shelters says she is 3 years old my dog groomer thinks she's closer to 5 or 6. She will be available for adoption from the shelter on Friday. Her "stray hold" is up Thursday at 6 pm.

About this dog:
She is chipped, but it is not registered.
She cannot bark. I assume her bark box has been removed.
She loves kids but I don't think she'd be safe with little kids who could accidently hurt her because she can't bark.
She is house trained BUT she can't tell you when she wants to go outside or if she can I haven't figured it out yet. I let her out every couple hours and she immediately goes potty but if I wait too long she will pee on the floor. (I didn't let her out until 7:30 am this morning which was too late!) She lifts her back leg to pee, sometimes both of her legs and pees standing on her front paws. She is not pad trained at all that I can see.
She looks like she has had puppies but she was spayed at the shelter.
She WILL NOT cross a threshold to come in to the house or in a room without a lot of coaxing. I thought she didn't know how to use stairs but it's just the stairs inside. She will go up and downstairs outside but will just sit at the top or the bottom of the stairs inside. She WILL NOT get on the furniture or a bed unless she is picked up and placed there.
She will sit when asked and she does this funny little stand and dance move.
She is honestly the cutest dog and so much better behaved than my little fur goblin!
She LOVES to sit in my lap. She sleeps under my bed. This is a great lap dog. She will sit there all day! She loves to go for walks.
She is good for about 2 miles then you have to carry her. She has tiny legs. She only weighs about 3 pounds. She doesn't pull on the leash or bark at other dogs. (Well, she doesn't bark at anything. She doesn't react to other dogs) She does like to sniff human's feet.
She was found in Woods Cross around 1500 South. She has a really choppy haircut. I assume it was done at the shelter because she was matted. She seems healthy but her breath is really bad. She needs her teeth cleaned. She let me brush them but they need a professional cleaning at the vet. I need to find her a home because I just can't take her back to the pound and put her back in that cement cage.
