The fun of Sean

I love this song and it is a good description of how much Don and I enjoy the fun of having a "little one" in our home. Sean is just so much fun! He came to our bed last night and slept in the middle. Having grown kids and one getting married next week it's just a constant reminder of how fast they grow up.

You can't do this with a big kid!

Lonestar - Let Them Be Little

I can remember when you fit in the palm of my hand

Felt so good in it, no bigger than a minute

How it amazes me, you're changing with every blink

Faster than a flower blooms they grow up all too soon

So let them be little 'cause they're only that way for a while

Give them hope, give them praise, give them love every day

Let them cry, let them giggle, let them sleep in the middle

Oh just let them be little

I've never felt so much in one little tender touch

I live for those kisses, prayers and your wishes

Now that you're teaching me things only a child can see

Every night while we're on our knees all I ask is please

Let them be little 'cause they're only that way for a while

Give them hope, give them praise, give them love every day

Let them cry, let them giggle, let them sleep in the middle

Oh just let them be little

So innocent, a precious soul, you turn around

It's time to let them go

So let them be little 'cause they're only that way for a while

Give them hope, give them praise, give them love every day

Let them cry, let them giggle, let them sleep in the middle

Oh just let them be little

Let them be little
Sean had his first soccer practice. If holding the ball between two cones was the object of the game then he's a pro. That's Ethan behind him with the cone over his face. We laughed the entire practice. They love their uniforms. They don't have a clue about the game. What you can't pick the ball up with your hands?

It snowed a couple of inches last night. This is Sean and Ethan at the beginning of the storm. Note they have their soccer shirts on and no shoes. I saw them and was standing on the porch getting ready to take a picture when I saw a flash. Ethan's mom was on her front porch taking pictures too. Those two are silly little boys. They rolled up my living room rug yesterday. I guess because they could. Miranda said they poured borax all over her floor so I consider myself fortunate.
