Sean, Don and Phoebe all got the flu. The flu is epidemic right now. We all had flu vaccine but apparently the flu mutated into a strain that wasn't covered with the vaccine. The doctor said having the vaccine decreases the severity of the illness and if Sean hadn't been vaccinated he would have ended up in the hospital. The doctor said it was OK to travel with Sean so we went ahead with our trip. We had Christmas morning at home. AJ and Steph didn't come over because they didn't want to catch our flu. Alex, Loreal, Alika and David didn't come over until later in the afternoon so it was just Don, Sean, Carter, Mom and Phoebe for presents. Carter didn't even stay for breakfast.

| We got our first snow of the season on Christmas. There were over 6 inches in Centerville. When we drove to the airport there were about 12 cars of the freeway near the airport. |

| The plane left just a few minutes late. We had what I believe was the best transfer I've ever had. We got off the plane, the next plane was boarding at the gate right next to the one we got off. Score! |
