The animal removal and prevention company came out on Saturday to remove the raccoon poop and disinfect the attic. They removed over 50 pounds of raccoon crap. That's a lot of crap. The bill was over a thousand dollars. There was almost $400 for chemicals, $100 for waste disposal and the rest was for the actual work removing the feces. I thought that part was priceless. The thought of crawling around in a crawl space cleaning up poop is most unpleasant.
These are pictures of some of the concentrated raccoon poop areas. She said "they've been there for awhile." Uh, yes. It looks like they spent a season over the garage and then moved over the kitchen.
These are the areas after she cleaned. There's still poop in the attic but the enzyme chemicals they used are supposed to break down the remaining "organic waste."
