Hanging with the Wolphin

Wolphin? Yep, it's not a dolphin, it's a wolphin. Twenty six years ago Sea Life put a dolphin and a killer whale in the same pool thinking that procreation of inter-species would be impossible. Much to their surprise a baby wolphin was born. Even more surprising that wolphin gave birth. (They were thinking like mules that a mixed species wouldn't produce offspring). I asked if she spoke dolphin or whale and it was definitely dolphin. She was raised around dolphins so that is what she knows.
When Don told Sean to kiss the wolphin he said "NEVER!" He liked the high fives but no way was he putting his lips on that thing.

Dancing with the wolphin.

Don didn't have a problem puckering up.

Sad but I looked at this picture and thought I should quit traveling and spend money on plastic surgery. But hey traveling is so much fun.

There was a pool with all kinds of starfish, sea cucumbers and a bunch of spongy things that we were able to touch. There were some red pencil fish. Kids used them for pencils instead of slate because the red rubs off easy.

Sean got pretty tight with a sea turtle. It loved the lettuce and celery, the broccoli not so much. I loved how the water poured out of it's nose.
We started our day with a 5 am walk on the beach and we finished with a 5 pm walk on the beach. (We are not digging the time change)

Awesome day if I do say!
