Trip home

Such a longgg trip home. We got up at 4 a.m. to drive from Campos to Rio. When we drove from Rio to Campos it took almost 8 hours. The traffic was horrific. The traffic on the way back was not bad so we made it in 4 hours. We had 5 hours to sit around the airport. It was OK because I couldn't deal with the stress of worrying about missing our plane.

Sean's electronics's ran out of batteries and we had checked the adapter so we bought some magnetic marbles for him to play with while we waited. This is in Chile. This is where my credit card was denied.
We ate at a Ruby Tuesday that was really loud and had crappy service. This bill made me laugh. No tip included then they added a tip. It was only 10% and our waiter was one of the few people actually working so it was fine but funny.

Making crazy faces on the plane. This was the plane ride from LAX to SLC. So close to home. I was able to stretch across 3 seats for the long plane ride. I slept about 5 hours then Don and I switched and he slept about 3. Sean slept the 5 I slept.

30 hours of travel to get home. It felt so good to get home and sleep in our own beds and take a bath. Fun trip but getting home was wonderful. About 20 hours after we left the Chile airport they had a massive volcano eruption and airports in Chile, Argentina and Rio were closed. We could still be there!
