Road Trip

We took a road trip to the Redwoods. 1914 miles round trip. If the length of the trip isn't sufficiently impressive consider the fact that we took Kylie and Brie along for the adventure. Sean was excited that we were camping as he had never been camping and extra excited that his sisters were coming. Kylie and Brie have asked for years when we were going to take them on a trip. They were exceptionally pleasant travelers. We traveled about 8 to 10 hours a day there and back and then stopped for the night. We took gas station or food breaks every two hours. It was fun for Kylie and Brie. They had a lot of first. First time in Nevada, Oregon, California, the beach, staying at a hotel. 

The kids amused themselves with movies on the computer, the DVD player and taking selfies with my cell phone.

Phoebe slept most of the way there and back. Phoebe had a first. The ever patient Phoebe got mad at the kids. Sean was shocked. Took her 9 months to lose it. Maybe that's why she slept the entire car ride.
