Steph and Aric went for her "interview" for residency today. They'd been preparing, stressing, practicing for every possible question. They asked her if she had ever been arrested for prostitution, drugs or helped anyone enter the US illegally. Then they admired her printed scrap books and approved her. Their attorney was there too but never said a word. That was expensive but went really smoothly. I can't imagine trying to go through that process without an attorney. He really guided them through the entire thing.
Sooo, I just booked tickets for me, Don and Sean to go to Costa Rica on Christmas Day and come back on New Years Day. AJ and Steph are leaving on the 9th and coming back on New Years day. Yippee, I'm excited. We are going to have Christmas on Christmas eve. Alika is taking Spanish next semester and wants to go to Costa Rica too so we will probably go back in the summer:) Sean is looking forward to see the monkeys that live in Steph's back yard and he can practice his Spanish!
