Centerville is declared a disaster

The wind gust were up to 102 mph last night and today and it made a bit of a mess. School was cancelled today and it has been cancelled for tomorrow. The entire city is in the process of digging out. We lost power about 3 am and got it back at 3 pm. There are still 50,000 houses without so we are feeling pretty lucky.
This is AJ and Steph's patio. Kind of turned into a trash pile.

This is the sign earlier in the day by this afternoon there was no color left. The subway sign was on the street.

It was a challenge to stand up. Note our fence to the right.

Neighbors tree.

Walmart

That wire used to have a traffic light attached to it.

This is our rental down the street. The tree came up and took out the driveway. I've got to call the insurance company tomorrow for the rental and damage to our house. We have some damage to the gable vent. Well, not really damage, it's gone! I don't know if our fences are covered but we have some real fence problems.

We live in a very nice neighborhood. The neighbors were out in mass. This is Ethan's house. They lost some huge trees so we were out pulling branches. The neighbor brigade just went down the street with chain saws and boy scouts so once they got there it went really fast. The city is going to come pick up the tree limbs and trees.

Yep, there's Applewood Drive.

Hey, where's our trampoline?

Oh there it is. On the other side of the fence in our neighbors yard. I asked the neighbor why she stole our trampoline and she just stared me. The guy at the dump told Don "it was a bad day for trampolines. I've seen over fifty." No our trampoline is still in one piece but it's also still in the neighbors yard. We are hoping it blows back over tonight:)

The trailer in the park behind Ethan's house lost their entire roof. Major bummer.
Note the wires to the right of the Pages Lane sign. The traffic light is missing. Didn't see it on the side of the road.
The city has been declared a disaster. They say 60% of the houses in our city have been damaged. The good news is there were no serious injuries to people. The candy canes in our yard however did not survive the storm.
