Grandma has been getting progressively worse the past few days. We went to the ER last night and they did more xrays and a CT scan of her back. She has two broken ribs and four bulging disc. The offered to admit her overnight for pain control but that really wouldn't resolve anything. They started her on steroids. Getting her back in the house was an adventure. Don and I had to carry her up the stairs in her wheelchair at 11 pm. She was trying to grab on to the railing and I kept telling her to quit holding on. (sorry couldn't lift and take pictures at the same time.) We got her in and she slept OK. Tomorrow we have an appointment at 7:15 am with her regular doctor. Can't wait to get her in and out of the house again. Sure she's excited too:( I've been talking to Char and Brad and Catherine making arrangements and back up arrangements for when we are in Costa Rica.

Sean's Christmas program was hysterical. When he got on stage to do the Mexican hat dance he realized he didn't have a hat. His face just fell and the audience was sad you could hear the parents talking. Then the teacher grabbed a hat off a kid back stage and gave it to Sean and he did this happy jig and everyone clapped it was cute. He stole the show! These pictures are not good but I went straight to the program for work and all I had was my cell phone. |

For the first part of the program he was one of the wise men. |
