Second beach of the day

The second beach of the day was about 90 minutes from the first one and had some spectacular views. Too bad for Don he couldn't see them.

The negra river fed into the Caribbean. There was black water flowing into the sea.

Hiking to a spot where you can see an incredible view.

There were leaf cutter ants everywhere. Marching in straight lines carrying pieces of leaf bigger than the ants.

Not sure what this was all about.

Second picnic of the day. Funny note: Costa Rican's eat mayonnaise like we do ketchup. They put it on just about everything.

The Noni fruit. I had heard of it but never seen it. It is not a pretty fruit. In fact it's down right ugly and when they get over ripe they look like huge white slugs. Doesn't make me want to eat one.

Packing up the van to head home.

Great timing for this Christmas present. AJ and Steph gave Gordo the Leap pad for Christmas so they were able to share games. Sean is now best friends with Gordo. He wanted to go to his house and didn't want anyone to walk him there. Ethan you've been replaced (until Sean gets home anyway).
