| Santa heard we were going to Costa Rica on Christmas so he came a day early. Carter was OK with it but is wondering what he's eating for Christmas dinner. My cousin John and his family came down this evening and we had crab for dinner. |

| Mom came upstairs and ate for the first time since she got hurt. Alex and Loreal came for a big breakfast after we opened presents. We ate over two dozen eggs along with pancakes, bacon, sausage and biscuits. It was like the Denny grand slam. |

| Sean was of course the center of attention. When we told him Santa came he asked "did someone leave the door open?" He's excited about the trip tomorrow. |
